Red light is sold with a lot of promises. We are not going to make any of them.
We will tell you exactly what this mat emits, exactly how big it is, exactly how many beads it holds, and exactly how people use it. What red and near infrared light do or do not do inside a human body is a question for the research and for your own doctor, not for a product page trying to sell you something.
If a page tells you what a light will do to your body, ask yourself how they know.
What it emits
Each LED bead carries three chips: two at 660 nm, which is visible red, and one at 850 nm, which is near infrared and invisible to the eye. That is why the mat looks red while it runs even though part of what it puts out you cannot see.
More beads means more coverage across the surface, not a different wavelength. The 1410 and the 1280 are the same physical size. The 1410 is simply denser.

Compact 400
39.4 x 23.6 in (100 x 60 cm), 400 beads. Covers one region at a time: the back, the hips, both legs, the shoulders. Light enough to move around the house. The one to take if you are not sure yet.
Full Body 1280
70.9 x 31.5 in (180 x 80 cm), 1280 beads. Long enough to lie on head to foot. This is the standard full-body size.
Full Body 1410
70.9 x 31.5 in (180 x 80 cm), 1410 beads. Same footprint as the 1280, denser bead layout. Take it if you want the most coverage per session.

Most people who buy the Compact and like it end up wanting a full body one. Most people who buy a full body one never wish they had gone smaller.
Using it, the first week
1. Bare skin where you can
Light does not pass through clothing. Whatever the fabric covers, the mat is not reaching.
2. Close your eyes, or wear goggles
Do not stare into the beads. It is bright, and there is no reason to look at it.
3. Ten to fifteen minutes
That is a session. Longer sessions are not a shortcut to anything.
4. Same time every day
People who keep using it are the ones who attached it to something they already do. Most pick the end of the evening.
Is it for you?

Questions people ask before buying
What does red light actually do?
We are not going to answer that on a page where we are also asking for your money. There is published research on 660 nm and 850 nm light, some of it interesting and some of it thin, and there are people selling mats who describe it as settled science. It is not our place to tell you how to read it. What we will give you, plainly, is what this device emits and what size it is, so you can judge it against whatever you have read.
What is the difference between 660 nm and 850 nm?
660 nm is visible red light, the part you can see. 850 nm is near infrared, which your eye cannot see at all. Every bead on this mat carries both.
Is 1410 beads better than 1280?
It is denser, on the same surface. Same wavelengths, same size mat, more emitters across it. Whether that difference matters to you is your call, and the price gap reflects the hardware, not a claim.
Do I use it through clothes?
Light does not pass through fabric. If you lie on it fully dressed, the mat is reaching your clothes.
Does it get hot?
It warms up. It is not a heating pad and it is not meant to replace one.
Do I need goggles?
Close your eyes or wear goggles. Do not stare directly into the beads. Goggles are not included.
Can I fold it?
It rolls. Roll it, do not crease it, and do not fold it sharply along the same line every time.
Does it need to be plugged in?
Yes. Unlike the Pro Mini and the Pro Boots, this one runs off mains power.
What if it is not for me?
Send it back within 30 days and we refund you. You do not need to explain why.
